Abilities
While a WARBOSS model is leading this unit, each time an attack targets this unit, if the Strength characteristic of that attack is greater than the Toughness characteristic of this unit, subtract 1 from the Wound roll.
If your Army Faction is ORKS, once per battle, at the start of your Command phase, you can call a Waaagh!. If you do, until the start of your next Command phase, the Waaagh! is active for your army and: - Units from your army with this ability are eligible to declare a charge in a turn in which they Advanced. - Add 1 to the Strength and Attacks characteristics of melee weapons equipped by models from your army with this ability. - Models from your army with this ability have a 5+ invulnerable save.
Once per battle for each ammo runt this unit has, when this unit is selected to shoot, it can use this ability. If it does, until the end of the phase, ranged weapons equipped by models in this unit have the [LETHAL HITS] ability. Designer’s Note: Place the relevant number of Ammo Runt tokens next to the unit, removing one each time the unit uses this ability.
Each time an attack made with a [LETHAL HITS] weapon results in a critical hit, you can choose for that attack to automatically wound the target. Designer’s Note:* Choosing to automatically wound the target means that no wound roll is made for that attack. You may decide against this, as it means that attack cannot result in a critical wound* and so cannot trigger other abilities such as [DEVASTATING WOUNDS].
